In order to enrich students' extracurricular life, improve their English writing ability, practice students' solid basic English skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, stimulate students' interest in learning English, enhance their sense of collective cooperation, and activate the English culture on campus, Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of the east campus held the ‘Celebrating the New Year and Welcoming the New Year’ handwritten English newspaper activity.
In brief, this activity allowed the students to actively start their own work and make independent design, and improved their operational ability and the ability to use comprehensive knowledge of English, which not only increased students' extracurricular knowledge, but also cultivated their hands-on ability from which they experienced the fun of creative English work.
